Six Traits seems like a good way to teach and assess the Writing Block. I = want these second language learners to get a better feel for writing as a way = to communicate and six traits seems good for that. I have been reading as = much as I can find about it. My questions to the group are, What books should I be reading about Six Traits? Does anyone on the ring teach second language learners? Are you willing = to share your success or trouble? Is any familiar with Four blocks? Am I biting off more than I can chew = when I try to integrate the two programs? Thanks in advance. I hate to make them start another story, sometimes that seems more like a punishment for finishing early. I have some = activities for them, but that seems like busy work. Any suggestions? Six Traits, 4-Blocks and Accelerated Reader. I didn't get it all together this year, but I think things will be better next year. Time is the biggest = roadblock.
