Messages on the road

I've never seen anything like this before, not even in Arizona! For miles, these messages were on either side of the road, with variations: Drive Slow, Cow On Road; Use Caution, Cow on Road; and plain old Cow On Road, the first I saw and photographed. I'm thinking someone lost some cows to poor driving!
